He was previously a rebbe at Lander's College for Men and an eleventh grade Rebbe at the DRS Yeshiva High School (HALB). Rabbi Lebowitz grew up in the Five Towns community and spent two years learning in eretz Yisrael at Yeshivat Kerem B'Yavneh , where he developed a close relationship with Rav Ahron Silver, who taught him his derech halimud and encouraged him to pursue a career in Klei Kodesh. Upon his return from Eretz Yisrael, Rabbi Lebowitz attended Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business, where he majored in finance. Rabbi Lebowitz has published numerous articles on practical halachic topics in various journals, including several recent articles in the Journal of Halacha and Contemporary Society. Prior to founding the Beis Haknesses of North Woodmere, Rabbi Lebowitz spent three years as Assistant Rabbi at Congregation Sha’aray Tefillah in Lawrence. Rabbi Levin received Semicha from RIETS under the guidance of Rav Hershel Schachter and deals with numerous Shailos daily. \r\nRabbi Levin also runs a summer Kollel housed in Aish Kodesh allowing young men to continue their learning at a serious level during their break from Yeshiva and school. Rabbi Levin spent a short period of time working as an actuary in PricewaterhouseCoopers before completing his Semicha. His first hand experience in the world of business allows him to appreciate the everyday challenge the working Jew faces in Halacha, Hashkafa and Yiras Shamyim. After receiving semicha from RIETS, Rabbi Rosensweig was among the first group to complete the intensive post-graduate studies in RIETS' Caroline and Joseph S. Gruss Kollel Elyon.\r\nRabbi Rosensweig was appointed a Rosh Yeshiva, a member of the RIETS faculty, in 1985. He has written extensively, contributing to numerous journals of Torah learning.\r\nRabbi Rosensweig received his semikha (rabbinic ordination) fromYeshiva University’s affiliated Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (RIETS) and was a distinguished fellow of its post-semikha institute, the Gruss Kollel Elyon. He received his undergraduate degree from Yeshiva College and earned his Ph.D. in medieval Jewish history from the University’s Bernard Revel Graduate School while studying under Professor Haym Soloveitchik. He was also a student of Rav Aharon Lichtenstein, renowned Talmudic scholar and rosh yeshiva at Yeshivat Har Etzion and director of RIETS’ Joseph and Caroline Gruss Institute in Jerusalem.\r\nIn 1985, Rabbi Rosensweig was appointed rosh yeshiva in the Yeshiva Program\/Mazer School of Talmudic Studies, one of four undergraduate Jewish studies divisions for men at Yeshiva University.
