Rabbi Sobolofsky blends these two styles to form a unique package that many students find most rewarding.\r\n\r\nIn addition to his role as Rosh Yeshiva in RIETS, Rabbi Sobolofsky also serves as the spiritual leader of Congregation Ohr HaTorah in Bergenfield, New Jersey. His synagogue has attracted many Orthodox Jews to the community. An accomplished speaker and writer, Rabbi Adler has lectured and written on a wide variety of Torah topics. Before joining Yeshiva, Rabbi Adler studied at Yeshivas Beis Yosef-Novardok, Mirrer Yeshiva and Mesivtha Tifereth Jerusalem, where he received semikha from Rav Dovid Feinstein. He was also a student of Rav Aharon Lichtenstein, renowned Talmudic scholar and rosh yeshiva at Yeshivat Har Etzion and director of RIETS’ Joseph and Caroline Gruss Institute in Jerusalem.\r\nIn 1985, Rabbi Rosensweig was appointed rosh yeshiva in the Yeshiva Program\/Mazer School of Talmudic Studies, one of four undergraduate Jewish studies divisions for men at Yeshiva University. He received his undergraduate degree from Yeshiva College and earned his Ph.D. in medieval Jewish history from the University’s Bernard Revel Graduate School while studying under Professor Haym Soloveitchik. He was also a student of Rav Aharon Lichtenstein, renowned Talmudic scholar and rosh yeshiva at Yeshivat Har Etzion and director of RIETS’ Joseph and Caroline Gruss Institute in Jerusalem.\r\nIn 1985, Rabbi Rosensweig was appointed rosh yeshiva in the Yeshiva Program\/Mazer School of Talmudic Studies, one of four undergraduate Jewish studies divisions for men at Yeshiva University.
