Two main points I would like to discuss with you. When you gave your elegant introduction to the evolvement of Y.U. you began with the part that Rav Shlomo Polotchek , the Meitzicher iluy z'l played and that after his passing Rav Moshe Soloveitchik z'l took over as Rosh Hayishiva with out mentioning the fact that Rav Shimon Schkopf z'l took the place of Rav Polotchek.. Why would you have omitted such an important fact in the history of Y.U. I hope it had nothing to do with the fact that Rav Schkopf z'l had great reservstion at remaining at Y.U. due to the fact that he was not completely comfortable with the secular division of the Yeshiva.Secondly, how is it possible to give an overview of the development of Orthodoxy in America between 1920-to the present, without making mention of Rav Yoel Teitlebaum, the Satmar Rav z'l and the huge part that he played in this develpement. You started off your remarks by stating how repulsive it was for the lack of intellectual honesty that many of the people and leaders exuded in the former years. I agree with that but how did you not see the lack of your intellectual honesty in not mentioning the above INDISPUTABLE FACTS.Respectfully; Notty Rybak
